Gear Review: Mizu D10 Bottle for Gym and Strength Training

Strength and conditioning work is a big part of how competitive surfers train. We cover plenty of that prep in our WSL Championship Tour Rankings breakdown. The Mizu D10 water bottle has been our pick for gym sessions over the past month. It’s the largest double-wall bottle in the Mizu range. The extra capacity means fewer trips to the water fountain mid-session.

The insulation keeps water cold through a full hour-plus training block. That matters more than it sounds. A few sets into a heavy session, warm water is the last thing you want. The wider base makes it stable on a gym floor too. It won’t tip over between sets, which is a small detail that ends up mattering a lot in a busy gym.

It’s a bigger, heavier bottle than the M8. It suits a gym bag or car more than a surf bag. For pure training use, it’s the better option of the two.

Is the Mizu D10 Water Bottle Right for Your Training?

For anyone doing regular gym sessions alongside surfing, the Mizu D10 water bottle is built for that. It holds enough water for a full session. It keeps that water cold the whole way through. And it’s stable enough to survive life on a gym floor.
